the ZOO adventure...

Last Monday my Mom took all of the Grandkids to the zoo. Carlee was SO excited to see the animals and the train and get to be with her cousins. She LOVES the monkeys and is still talking about getting to see the elephant take his bath. She was also really excited to ride the carousel and wanted to go again and again. Thanks Mom! You are the best Grandma ever...

Little Mommy

The other day Carlee insisted that she have her "bear" up by her while she ate her lunch. She was talking to him, pushing him in the stroller, feeding him some PB&J sandwich, etc. She was SO cute. She was the BEST little mommy and so smart for only being just under 2 yrs old.

PA and the CHEW CHEW Train

I was looking through the photos I got off of my Mom's camera earlier today and Carlee saw this photo of her and "PA" with the CHEW CHEW... She got SO excited. Two of her FAVORITE things (PA and CHEW CHEW Trains). This photo is from Memorial Day Weekend in Soda Springs waiting for the Geyser to go off. My Dad is blowing on something he found on the tracks (making train horn tunes) and Carlee dancing to it like she was a train... They both keep me smiling!

YEE HAW!!!

A couple of weeks ago Carlee and I spent my Monday off hanging out with my Mom and Sister Colette. We had LOTS of fun. We went to lunch, took Carlee to ride the 10 cent horse at the farm supply store and then to Colette's house. We were all exhausted when the day was over. However, the highlights of the day were:
Carlee on the horse. It has a place to kick to "buck." Colette pushed it and Carlee about flew off the horse. You were suppose to be able to pull the reigns to make it slow again, but they were broken. It was so funny we kept doing it over and over again. Carlee didn't think it was as funny as we did, but Grandma bought her a CUTE PINK COWGIRL HAT (that she wears and takes all over the place) to make up for it. Carlee also says "YEE HAW" whenever she puts the hat on.
The puppy in the store that Carlee could not get enough of. It was SO cute. However, it kept sniffing Carlee's crotch. She could not figure that one out...
Carlee wanting to get in the hot tub to swim. However, she didn't have anything to wear so Colette stuck her in there naked (well she still had her cowgirl hat on).
Carlee playing with the dogs at Colette's all while she was dressed up in the princess costume. She loved having Bear there to play with her (Colette's dog).

I LOVE living where the traffic is minimal, the view is gorgeous and our neighbors are SO nice. I hope we never leave this area. I LOVE it here!!!

"MUGGY"

Many, if not all, of you have heard us call Carlee, Muggy. I think at one point of her life she thought that was her real name. Let me tell you how/why she got the name. When Carlee was born she was the CUTEST baby in the WORLD! She had the cutest little round face and cheeks, was so chubby and had TONS of black hair and big brown eyes. She was the furriest baby in the nursery. Carson looked at her and immediately started calling her "Muggy." He later told me it was from the movie "Gremlins." That she reminded him of a 'Mogwai' (the cute little creatures before they turn into the gremlins). The name stuck! As she approaches the age of 2 in approx 24 days we will start wanting to call her "GREMMY" instead of "MUGGY"...

MAGIC (and Yummy!) SOUP--

My friend, Stephanie Dickson (who is also the greatest real estate sales person out there if you are looking to buy or sell a house) called to check on me the other day and soon discovered that both Carlee and I were sick. So being the SWEET unselfish person that she is brought us the BEST!!! brocolli, cheddar and potato soup. It was seriously SO good and it was HOMEMADE all by herself. I keep telling her it was MAGIC because Carlee and I were both feeling almost back to 'normal' the very next day. I know it is hard to imagine from the photo, but Carlee did actually get a some of the soup in her mouth. Thanks Steph! I love ya tons...

Lava on Memorial Day Weekend

We went to Lava Hot Springs with my parents and little sister Kailey over Memorial Day weekend. Carlee LOVES "fimfuit" (swimsuit ie:swimming). We sat in the hot pots (well we sat and Carlee swam around with her little wings on), her Daddy (who she is calling Cars lately) took her to the park to play on the toys a couple of time, went to Soda Springs to see the Geyser (although Carlee LOVED the train going past the Geyser much more), played and ate. She is SO loved by her Grandparents and Kailey. We all had a great time. Our camera batteries died so we have more photos coming from Kailey and my parents camera. Stay tuned...

Very Sick..

Carlee is in bed right now not feeling well at all. She started having a fever on the evening of the 3rd. I took her in yesterday to the clinic and was told that she has some virus that has a really long name, but basically means she will have a high fever over the next 5-7 days that we will just have to watch really close and treat as they come on. It has been miserable. She is so sad and achy and just wants to either be held or to go "nite, nite." We hope and pray it will pass quickly. I always thought that her TOO MUCH ENERGY was TOO MUCH for me, but I would rather have her with too much energy than none at all. While she is taking naps I am going to update our blog with a few photos of the last couple of weeks. Enjoy...
