DANCE LESSONS!

Julie Moffit Ballet School in North Ogden

Although Carlee only had about 8 lessons before we moved, she LOVED being able to dance.

First day of lessons.

Getting their treats and stickers after class.

Parent/Grandparent Day. They show us what they have learned.

Carlee in action...

Waiting for her turn.

Frightmares!

One final trip to Lagoon before they closed. We LOVED our season passes we got from Grandma Becky last year from Christmas. We used them over and over again. It was a gift that truly kept on giving. We made LOTS of memories too. Frightmares is always fun. It's put you in the mood for Halloween.

Thanks again Mom!

Conference!

I LOVE CONFERENCE WEEKEND! We thought it would be awesome to go and see it live before we moved across the country. It was even more fun that most of my siblings were there with us, and my Mom. We didn't all get to sit together, but all had great seats. This was the view from our seats. The spirit in the Conference Center is AMAZING! If you EVER have a chance to go, DO NOT pass it up.

Kit Kat Cake

KIT KAT CAKE
(say that 10 times fast)

So good and so easy to make. Two round cakes put together with frosting or a filler. Put Kit Kats on the outside held on with frosting. Fill top with M&M's or Skittles or whatever you choose. Wrap with a cute ribbon (or whatever your Mom gives you to use). ENJOY!

This was for my soon-to-be brother-in-laws birthday.
Happy Birthday Josh!

Here comes the bride...

One of Carlee's FAVORITE things to do, DRESS-UP! She was in HEAVEN the day I let her try on my wedding dress, veil and all. We had to put her on a stool so she was tall enough to get the full effect and also use some serious pulling/pinning in the back of the dress, but this was the end result. SHE'S A WOOT!!!

Firestation Field Trip!

NORTH OGDEN FIRESTATION
One of Carlee's Preschool Field Trips in Utah before we moved. She LOVED being able to see the fire trucks, ambulance on the inside and out, meet the firefighters and paramedics, and even get her own fireman hat. I was lucky enough to get to go with her...

Driving the firetruck (or at least pretending to).

The whole class and her 2 teachers (and the fireman).

We had to hurry and try this hat on that was sitting on the ground. Look at who it belongs to - PERKINS.

Her very own hat!

Pretzel Sticks GALORE!

I made these for my little sister. She was doing a Regional for Eminence Organics Skin Care for which she is a Spa Rep for the states of ID, WY and WA. We made A LOT of them, but they turned out SO cute. I might consider doing them again for Christmas gifts here in VA only in Christmas colors instead of pink and red (her theme was around a new strawberry product).

First Day of School (Round 1)

This is a photo from all the back in September 2010. Carlee's 1st Day of Preschool (2nd Year).

Stay tuned for her First Day of School (Round 2).

(I realize I am SO behind it's sad, sorry!)

Rub-A-Dub

THREE GIRLS IN THE TUB!!!
This was at my Mom's house, where we were living before we headed to Virginia. The girls wanted to take a bath and when we went in to check on them, they had put a little too much soap in the tub, and then turned on the jets...

TOO FUNNY!

Missing our neighbors!

The 2nd day I guess I was a little homesick and didn't realize it...then I went grocery shopping. I had a melt down in the store when I saw this bread. We miss our neighbors in Utah. It was nice to call and talk to Dannie and Mary Jane today. Mary Jane is one of Carlee's favorite Grandma's!
(At least she thinks she is her Grandma. She was our next door neighbor in Utah.)
(Side note: this post also made me what a Goober sandwich. YUMMY!)

How to kill time during flight layovers...

MOVING WALKWAYS!
You'll get lots of looks, but it's better than dealing with a bored 4 yr old.

Park Play!

This is just a park by our house that we went to with some friends from our new ward. . .

Where's Waldo Carlee?

Isn't it AWESOME?

Look at all of those trees. On the other side of this park is a nice size pond that you can go canoeing in, or an area with campsites. It even has a trail around the pond you can walk or bike ride on.

I LOVE VIRGINIA!

Townhouse BEFORE & AFTER

This is BEFORE, but after I had taken a few boxes to the storage unit.

More of the before.

AFTER-Home Sweet Home!

My HOT husband!

Doing what he LOVES!

(This was from this summer. He went fly fishing with my brother.)

HA HA misses Trevyn

I have the cutest little nephew (well a few of them actually) but this one loves me as much as I love him. He calls me HA HA. I had to do his own little blog post of him because my camera is full of photos of him.

Trevyn HA HA loves you!

Carlee probably feeling a little jealous.

Cheesers!

I love this picture of him in our truck, but I love even more his Mom smiling at him in the reflection.
SO CUTE!

Two of his FAVORITE things... Grandma and Tractors.

More smiles!

Pretending he was asleep in the dog bed. Yes this is my little sisters dogs bed. Isn't it so cute?

He is a chicken/egg farmer. He sells them. See his money next to him. :)

SEAFOOD GALORE!

This was our lunch last Saturday. (Just one of the reasons I LOVE this place!)

We got:
1 lb LARGE Shrimp
1 WHOLE Lobster
1 lb LARGE Snow Crab Legs
all for ONLY $30.00

I could NOT believe it. Their crab was AMAZING too and I am pretty sure they gave us more than 1 lb. This was just at a little local take out place called Anna's. They sell cheap purses, sunglasses, etc out back if you need some of those with your seafood. LOL!

Money Bag!

My Grandma and Grandpa Chandler have an awesome tradition. When it is your birthday you get you dig in the money bag with one hand and whatever you can grab, you get to keep. It's so fun! Here is a few fun photos of Carlee 'diggin' in just after his birthday this last year.

I LOVE this last picture of the two of them.

I have the BEST Grandpa in the WORLD!

The 'Interview" for all of us!

While Carson was working in the Gulf, Northrop Grumman called him to set up his interview for the Newport News job he is at now. Well Carlee and I hadn't seen him for about a month so we thought we would also do our own interview of Virginia and see if we liked it. We did! The Larsen's again took us under their wings and showed us the ropes. It was SO fun and we are happy to be back.

(I'm sorry I am this behind. These were from the end of August.)

We climbed to the top of a light house that is no longer active.
(Not the one behind us. That one is the active one now.)

Kenny helped the kids get a close up, of a, Carlee. LOL!

Cute Jenny in action climbing the many stairs to the top of the hot and humid light house.

It was really cool to see how those things work. I would be really skinny if I had to climb those stairs everyday in the weather that is here in VA.

The Larsen's at the top. Check out that view behind them.
(Disclaimer: Kenyon was NOT happy to be climbing the lighthouse that day.)

The 3 Amigos sitting outside the Larsen's apt.

The have Hardee's here. Do any of you in Utah remember when there use to be Hardees in our neck of the woods? They are owned by Carls Jr owners. However, I had to post this picture because Carlee is so dang cute in it. She should be a Hardee's model. :)

Where Carson interviewed (and now where he works). This is Northrop Grumman's crane they use to move ships around. It lifts a bazillion tons and is the largest crane in the western hemisphere. You can see it from space. (I was joking about the bazillion.)

We went and saw them feed the fish at the Bass Pro Shop. This is one of our newest favorite places to go. Carson likes to see the latest in sporting equipment and Carlee and I go and see the fish tank (and now Santa and his town of games, etc).

We also ate REALLY REALLY GOOD! This is at Five Guys. They have the BEST burgers and fries. This is at the Outer Banks. We went and played on the beach, but you think I got a picture of that? NOPE! Sorry I was too busy playing. Plus, now it means we have to go back.

More good food! This is at Joe's Crab Shack. However, Jenny's crab dinner was much better. I can't believe how cheap the snow crab legs are here in VA. I saw them the other day at the Food Lion (a local grocery store) for only $4.99. LOVE IT!
