The 'Interview" for all of us!

While Carson was working in the Gulf, Northrop Grumman called him to set up his interview for the Newport News job he is at now. Well Carlee and I hadn't seen him for about a month so we thought we would also do our own interview of Virginia and see if we liked it. We did! The Larsen's again took us under their wings and showed us the ropes. It was SO fun and we are happy to be back.

(I'm sorry I am this behind. These were from the end of August.)

We climbed to the top of a light house that is no longer active.
(Not the one behind us. That one is the active one now.)

Kenny helped the kids get a close up, of a, Carlee. LOL!

Cute Jenny in action climbing the many stairs to the top of the hot and humid light house.

It was really cool to see how those things work. I would be really skinny if I had to climb those stairs everyday in the weather that is here in VA.

The Larsen's at the top. Check out that view behind them.
(Disclaimer: Kenyon was NOT happy to be climbing the lighthouse that day.)

The 3 Amigos sitting outside the Larsen's apt.

The have Hardee's here. Do any of you in Utah remember when there use to be Hardees in our neck of the woods? They are owned by Carls Jr owners. However, I had to post this picture because Carlee is so dang cute in it. She should be a Hardee's model. :)

Where Carson interviewed (and now where he works). This is Northrop Grumman's crane they use to move ships around. It lifts a bazillion tons and is the largest crane in the western hemisphere. You can see it from space. (I was joking about the bazillion.)

We went and saw them feed the fish at the Bass Pro Shop. This is one of our newest favorite places to go. Carson likes to see the latest in sporting equipment and Carlee and I go and see the fish tank (and now Santa and his town of games, etc).

We also ate REALLY REALLY GOOD! This is at Five Guys. They have the BEST burgers and fries. This is at the Outer Banks. We went and played on the beach, but you think I got a picture of that? NOPE! Sorry I was too busy playing. Plus, now it means we have to go back.

More good food! This is at Joe's Crab Shack. However, Jenny's crab dinner was much better. I can't believe how cheap the snow crab legs are here in VA. I saw them the other day at the Food Lion (a local grocery store) for only $4.99. LOVE IT!
