SWIM LESSONS!

Today Carlee started her first year of Swim Lessons at the North Shore.

She started in Preschool Class 1 and ended in Preschool Class 2. She is a fish!!! It was cold outside, but the water was 86 degrees so she still enjoyed every minute of it.

Can you see her? She is the only girl in her class and in this photo she is climbing the wall... LOL!

Preschool Graduation!!!

It's official! Carlee has graduated from preschool, although I believe it is more of a certificate of advancement. Grandma Becky came to watch her and even brought her gifts. I can't believe how fast my baby is growing up...

Waiting with her class...

Just getting her "diploma." That is her teacher Mrs. Rachel passing out the certificates.

Makeup, Makeup and more Makeup!

Carlee wishes I would do her makeup for her everyday. On this particular day she wanted to put on the fake eyelashes, mascara, lipstick, and the list goes on. Again, she is ALL girl!

FHE at The Fish Farm

Lots of fun... If you haven't been to the Fish Farm in North Ogden you need to go. We went and caught some lunkers and came home and ate them on the grill. It was the PERFECT FHE!

Susan G Komen BREAST CANCER Walk/Fundraiser

Having lost my Grandma Faye Chandler to breast cancer, and many other people I love, I decided to start a tradition this year. My Mom, sisters and I decided we were going to walk in the Susan G Komen SLC walk every year in honor of Grandma Chandler. My friend Jennika, and a few of my nieces also joined us. Our team raised over $1000.00. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT to all of your who walked and/or donated. We will be doing it again next year if anyone wants to join us. It was an emotional event at times, but also great exercise. . .

Aliyah's back and Madeline holding on to her. Best of cousins!

This was the part that was emotional for me... People everywhere had these signs that either said "In Memory of..." OR "In honor of"... It broke my heart to see people wearing them with lists of names or little kids wearing them in honor of their "Mommy", etc. What a great event. I know someday we will have a cure!

Lindsey, Lexi and my Mom

The starting line.

People as far in front of you as you could see and as far behind you as you could see. It was a 5K walk/run and probably thousands and thousands of people.

Even men there wearing pink bras.

Another picture of Madeline and Aliyah

It was awesome!
Thanks again!!!

BORED?

If we ever are we usually end up here...

PetCo or Petsmart checking out all of the animals, to include the snakes.

Carlee thinks it is like a zoo. Only once have we left with fish (they have since died). I told her that the animals like to stay in their cages at the Pet Shops and not go home with people. LOL!

LAGOON SEASON PASSES!

Another one of my favorite photos. Carlee and Grandma Becky on Puff.

Grandma Becky and Grandpa Jeff (Ashlee's parents) gave us Lagoon Season passes for Christmas 2009. This was the first time we went. We have been a few times since then. It is perfect to go and get a few rides in and leave when it gets crowded/hot. I LOVE our passes.

We HAVE to hit both of the "Monster Rides" (Haunted Houses) every time we go. Carlee LOVES them even though she covers her eyes or hides her head most of the ride.

This is right before we left. She thought she would run thru the dancing waters. She had a little breakdown when she got all wet. I am not sure what she was thinking, but we knew we were leaving so we let her do it.

I am sure there will be LOTS more photos to come...
Thanks for the passes and the fun gift Mom and Dad! We LOVE you!

St George

We went to St George with some of our friends over a long weekend and I had so much fun these are the only pictures I took the whole 3-4 days...

The first of the gorgeous red rock. I could TOTALLY live in St George someday.

The COOL park that is by the place we stayed.

Carlee rolling down the big hill...

We also swam, swam and swam some more, ate, played, shopped, ate, pedicures, golfing, etc.
It was a great time!

Journal YW Activity

Here are my adorable Laurels/Miamaids making adorable Journals at my house for mutual one night.

Super easy and super cute.

Cruisin' in the wagon...

Another favorite at Grandma Becky's...
Oh, and I love this picture of Carlee!

Baby Animal Days

We loved Baby Animal Days so much last year, we went again this year. There were a lot more people and it was a little colder than last year, but we still have a GREAT time. They hold it up towards Logan at the Heritage Park (I can't think of the name right now) place. I will update this when I remember the name.

Here are lots of photos of the fun day:

Pony rides...

Baby Black Bears from Bear World in Idaho. They were SO cute.

Baby turtles.

Bounce houses and slides. Isn't this a great action shot. . .

A "real" teepee.

Baby goats...

Baby bunnies...

Carlee thought this was where Shrek lived. Look at the outhouse in the background. That is exactly like Shreks and she LOVES that movie. We just went and saw the new one in 3d and she wants to see it again. I would almost dare say this was her favorite part of baby animal days. She is so smart to compare the two, and so funny, at the same time. There was no one back in this area and she just wanted to stay and hang out.

Wagon rides...

Pooping her pants on the mechanical bull (She calls it the "Buckarony." (We ran into Carson's cousin that owns this and runs it as income while he is up at USU. He travels all over the place renting it out if anyone is interested, let me know.) Oh and it was barely moving in this photo.

Finally getting the hang of it and not wanting it to end.

The Candy Canon.
They shoot candy out of a couple of cannons into the air. You get to run in and collect as much as you can. It was much more fun than a parade.

Even though it was after Easter they still brought the Easter Bunny for the kids to get their photos with.

The Train Ride
The longest line there and shortest ride of them all. Oh well, she loved it.

Photo hanging out of the barn for memory sake. We took the same photo last year.

It was TONS of fun and a tradition I am sure we will continue to carry on.

Oh and this is the longest post ever, I hope it saves!

Homemade Tutu!

One of my girlfriends and I decided to make tutu's one day at work. I was surprised at how fast you can make them and how cute they turned out. Carlee is all about dressing up lately so it was the perfect gift. She wore it all day on Easter all day long. Here she is modeling it and feeding the goats with Grandma Becky.

Isn't that such a sassy photo. Her tongue out with her apples to feed the goats. The little stinker... Good thing the skirt is cute. LOL!

Grandma Becky helping her feed the goats.

Easter Morning!

Carson has to work at the refinery Easter morning so Carlee and I were on our own. I took tons of photos of her reactions so he could see them when he got home late that night. She was cracking me up. I love this age she is at. She was SO excited over EVERYTHING she got, she couldn't tell me a favorite thing. She loved her Princess and a Frog DVD, her jump rope, the tutu I helped the Easter bunny make, etc. It was one of my FAVORITE Easters ever she to sit and watch her be excited...

The first glance at her Easter basket.

Getting ready to DIVE IN.

Her movie she was hoping for. We could now take the Red Box version back. LOL!

Me asking her to show it to me and her not wanting to stop looking at the cover.

TOO MUCH FUN!

Lee's Easter Egg Hunt

Our local grocery store puts on a little Easter egg/candy walk with prizes and treats and the Easter bunny every year. It was fun to go and let Carlee see the Easter bunny since we couldn't find him/her at any of the malls.

She walked up to him and looked into his eyes like she was trying to see his sole. It cracked me up!

BIG HUGS from the Easter Bunny!
