Salt Lake City Aquarium~

I have been wanting to take Carlee to the SLC Aquarium for a long time now. SO, while she was recovering from her surgery and I had some time off of work we met up with Colette and went. It was fun to see, but I now understand why you can get a year pass for $16.00. It is small, but slowly growing. Carlee loved it. I loved the Cheesecake Factory after. Thanks Colette!!!

Happy 30th Carson!

The Birthday 'Table'

Opening gifts...

Reading the book that he wanted.

I am SO behind with blogging it is sad. Let me start with wishing Carson a Happy 30th Birthday. He is now the BIG 30. We didn't really do much for his b-day, but I think with all of the work he has been putting in that was the way he wanted it. Happy Birthday Carson. I love you! Thanks for being a great Dad and husband.

SURGERY Day!

My poor little Carlee Faye has been having ALL KINDS OF TROUBLE with her little ears and throat. After having 4 ear infections since the beginning of December our Dr decided it would be best to STOP putting her on antibiotics and redo the tubes in her ears. Since she has been also getting tonsilitis with her ear infections they decided to take those out while in doing the tubes in the ears. And why not take out the adnoids too... The poor little girl. However, all that she knew was that she was getting surgery and that they were going to put a mask on her face and she was going to close her eyes and go to sleep and then when she woke up she got PRIZES. And that is exactly what happened. Except she didn't just get prizes she got more prizes then what she gets on her b-day and Christmas combined. WAHOO!~ Thanks everyone for spoiling her. It is fun to know that she is loved by others as much as her Mom and Dad love her.

Waiting for the nurses/dr to come and get her.

and waiting...

and still waiting (and hiding)...

After just waking up and wanting her Mom and to go home.

A couple hours later NEVER wanting to go home because the pain med's have kicked in and the nurses are SPOILING her. She gets WHATEVER she asks for to include lots of popsicles, movies, coloring books, crayons, fun toys, a cool toilet to go pee on AND A MOVING BED that she is allowed to play with (just because it kept her in it).

Yesterday you would NEVER have know that she had surgery except for her battle wounds from the iv's, etc. Last night and today---MISERABLE! Let's hope and pray she feels better soon.

FRUIT Pizza-

I have a new FAVORITE (please don't refer to the Biggest Loser blog post when reading this one). We went to my Mom's house on Sunday and took dinner and they provided dessert. I have had fruit pizza before, but had forgotten how much I LOVE it. It was gone VERY fast. Oh, and just as a side note just because it is called fruit pizza it doesn't have to be round. Kailey and I figured this out all by ourselves. :)

Lava AGAIN!

Hangin' out with Maura and Carys before heading off to the hot pots.

Ready for the hot pots.

Getting ready for tubing.

Sledding.

More sledding.
This time we went with our good friends the Brumbaughs. I honestly think that Julie and I were suppose to be sisters OR I was suppose to be rich and she was suppose to be my chef. Either way, they both sound great to me. Here are a few photos from our trip. It was LOTS of fun!
