Lucy's 1st Dr Appt

One of the ALL TIME FAVORITE PHOTOS!
Fresh out of the tub getting ready to go to the Dr's.

My first time going out since being home from the hospital. I was SO weak in this photo, but I don't look it at all. That is why I am sitting down. So I don't pass out while holding the baby.

Dr Ahsan checking Lucy out...

Getting her weight.

A pose with the nurse.

Lucy's 1st Bath

A few photos of Lucy's 1st bath. Both of my girls have been given their 1st bath by Grandma Becky. It has become a tradition...

Hospital Photo Shoot

Lucy was jaundice. This was her laying out in the sun in my hospital room to try and help her get her count up. It is another one of my favorite photos. It just shows how little she was when she was first born and how much hair. . .
Another picture of Carlee lovin' on Lucy.
So sweet in her hospital crib.
Not liking the goop they put in her eyes.

I hate this picture (at least of me). It reminds me just how sick I was (and sick of the hospital). However, I am going to post it so I have it in our book once I print it. Enjoy! Haha...
I LOVE THIS PHOTO! Carlee has been such a great Big Sister. She is so helpful and doesn't maul Lucy as much as I thought she would. She is so sweet and soft with her and tells the cutest things. Just the other day I could hear her telling Lucy how they are going to be BFF's forever. It was so sweet!
Waving at the camera. . .
I can't believe how much she has already grown since these were taken. I wish she would just stay little.

Grandma's Girl!

After she got her bathed and all dolled up with her bow, etc.
Giving her kisses. (Notice the shirt she put Lucy in? LOL! It says, "I Love Grandma")
Pointing out all of Lucy's hair.
Even more kisses...
Lucy's 1st bath at home... Even more kisses!

I am SO thankful for my Mom. (In case you haven't noticed that yet having read previous posts...) She is also the BEST Grandma in the World. Here are a few photos of her loving on Baby Lucy while she was living with me for 3 weeks after Lucy was born. I can't wait to move back to Utah and live with her for, oh say, FOREVER (or at least 6 months to a year). I don't know when that move back will occur, but I have already made sure it would be ok to move in with her to make up for lost time. ;)

Carlee's 1st Day of Kindergarten

Because I was in the hospital the day Carlee started Kindergarten my Mom brought her to me the morning before school started and let me get her ready (I was a mess because I was not going to be home to put my little girl on the bus and see her off the 1st day of school. It still breaks my heart and brings tears to my eyes when I think about it). Anyhow, it worked out better than I thought it would (THANKS to my Mom and Carson). I got to still do her hair, take photos of her holding her sign and have family prayer together. I also ended up going home that day so I got to see her off of the bus. Here are a few pictures:

One last lovin for her new little sister before she leaves for school.
Getting ready to get on the bus for the 1st time.

I asked Carson to take play-by-play pictures for me. He did a great job!
Me fresh out of the hospital getting her off of the bus.
A few treats I made for her. They are candy bars and lip gloss covered with paper to look like pencils.

Carlee goes to Matthew Whaley Elementary School and is in Mrs Kinney's Kindergarten class. She is LOVING it so far.
