Our newest chef...

Lucy LOVES Carlees kitchen. She pulls herself up to it and plays with it for hours (well not really hours but it feels like it sometimes). Her favorite thing to do, besides sucking on all of the fake food, is to bang the metal pots and pans on the tile floor. It's great for headaches.

I feel like she is growing up overnight. I want it to stop. She is getting too big too fast.

Lucy's Baby Blessing

When we went home in December we got together as a family to bless our adorable little baby. Carson blessed Lucy and gave her an amazing blessing. She was given the name Lucy Floretta Perkins. Lucy after Lucy Smith. Floretta after Carson's Grandma.

Here are a few photos of that special day.

The TRUTH!

I'll be honest! This is the REAL reason I have not blogged in TOO LONG.
To say I am a little obsessed with Pinterest would be an understatement. I love it!
Sorry I am back and my goal is to try and blog once a day until we leave
for Utah. Wish me luck...

Proof I am NOT a photographer...

First off the model is not so cooperative....

There was LOTS of cute smile opportunutes,
but by the time I took the photo she was
looking at the distractor/ee (Carlee).

Not to mention her cute brown bow
doesn't even show up in her mop of hair.

So we give up and go for the
constipated/stoned look. We'll try
again next month, haha!

Lucy is 7, 8, wait...9 months!

7 months
Starting to roll from front to back and back to front (and all over the family room). Almost able to sit up.

8 months
Time for a haircut or pig tails. CRAZY HAIR! Lucy gets LOTS of comments everywhere we go on her hair, eyes and Gerber face. She is now scooting ALL over the place.
9 months
Piggy tails, lots of ba, ba, ba and da da da, etc. Lucy makes me realize just how much our house is not child proofed. She finds every little thing she is not suppose to have. She is such a happy baby even with having cut 3 teeth in the last month. Poor girl!
