Home Sweet Home!

Our teeny tiny home sweet home. My good friend told me, "Love grows in small places." Let's just say a lot of love is going to be growing here for the next 6 months. LOL! It's great. We have way too much stuff. This last week I have realized that I am SPOILED! Everyone should live in something this small for at least 6 months. If for no other reason, you can clean it SO fast.

So far, so good!

We are here! We have arrived in Virginia. We are loving it so far. Carlee and I have found a few fun things to do and even met a few new friends along the way. Carson is doing great at work in his schooling program. He is flying through the courses like he is a pro.

It's weird to not be close to friends and family anymore. But we feel SO thankful for the gospel and the friends it introduces us too. We are also very grateful for our good friends, the Larsen's, that are only 20-30 minutes away from us. We have had a chance to get to see them a couple of times since getting to VA and are looking forward to spending even more time with them in the weeks/months/holidays/etc to come. I hope they don't get sick of us.

I am going to be better about blogging now that we are not close to home, but don't hold me to it if I slack. This stay at home Mom stuff is WAY harder than I ever thought it would be (and I only have one child). Carlee is excited to be starting back in Preschool on Monday and it will be a really nice break for me 3 hrs a day, 5 days a week.

Stay in touch and stay tuned. I am going to look for my cord to my laptop/phone so I can download a bazillion pictures of fun things we did before we left Utah and have done since getting to Virginia.

Carson has accepted a job offer at Northrup Grumman in Newport News, VIRGINIA. We are packing our boxes and moving next month. We already have our house under contract and can't even start to tell you how everything has fallen into place. We know this is where the Lord wants us to be at this time of our lives. We are looking for places in Williamsburg (which is where all of these photos came from). Please come and see us.

We are going to have an extra room just for YOU!

UNPRIVATE

Not sure that "UNPRIVATE" is even a word, but Carson is home and we are making LOTS of changes to include no longer going PRIVATE on our blog. Now, if I can just be a little better at updating it with our many changes. Pray for me us!
