Discovery Center

Friday night we stayed in SLC after attending Nathan Hamptons (Heff's) graduation bar-b-q. It was really fun to be able to see Carlee get excited to swim, play with the phone and TV, flush all of the tissues down the toilet over and over again (oh and really exhausting). However, the next morning we woke up and took her on TRAX (the choo, choo). She is starting to love trains almost as much as Elmo. She thought that it was SO cool that she didn't have to wear and seat belt and could even get up and attempt to walk when the choo choo was moving. She got really excited when another Trax passed us. We also took her to the Discovery Center at the Gateway where it was the last day they were doing their Sesame Street Discover Your Body Exhibit. Carlee was HILARIOUS! She was SO excited when we walked into the exhibit and she could see all of the different Sesame Street Characters. She knew all of their names too. Her favorite thing to our surprise was not the Elmo's World. It was the "Poo" button. Yeah you read that right. There was a section by Oscar that showed what happened to our food after we ate it. It showed us chewing it and then digesting it and then POOING it. It was SO gross, but she loved it. She just kept pushing the button and watching the poo fall over and over again. Then she would get her little gross face expression and say "Goooes." It was funny and kind of embarrassing as the other parents looked at us with disgust... I LOVE the Discovery Center other areas too and so did Carlee (and Carson). We will definitely be going back someday. We had a blast!!! PS Can you tell I am not sure how to load the photos and make them in any kind of order yet? Sorry about that. I will learn eventually!
