This last week has been a little rough. I haven't been able to put my finger on just why. However, tonight when I was trying to get Carlee to lay still and close her eyes and go to sleep I figured it all out...it was because she is missing her binky. The other day while at my parents my Dad took Carlee's binky and pretend to throw it away. She threw a little 2-yr old fit UNTIL he said, "If you throw it away you get to go to Disneyland." And that is all that it took. She took her binky and threw it in the garbage. Thanks for your help Dad! I am glad it is gone and that things are starting to get a little easier around here. Today was much better than yesterday and tomorrow is going to be even better. Watch out Mickey and Minnie here we come...

Yay! That is definitely worth a trip to Disneyland :) I've heard how hard it is to get rid of the binky. I'm a little worried cause Parker sucks his thumb and we can't just throw that away. I hope he grows out of it before he's 7 or something lol...
So when are you going to Disneyland?
Ugh, I can only imagine your frustration with the binky thing. Luckily, both my girls have never been fond of the binky nor do they suck their fingers!
