In October I got to go with Carlee on her preschool fieldtrip to Black Island Farms in Syracuse. It was lots of fun. They take the kids on a wagon ride to show them some of the different produce they grow. Then they end at the pumpkin patch where they get to pick their own pumpkins. She LOVED it and I loved being with her. After the ride on the wagon they got to eat their sack lunches and play in the play area.
Here are some photos...
Carlee posing. She is SO good at it, and it cracks me up.
All the kids wear their purple shirts to help us find them when they wonder off. It is a great idea!
This is the WHOLE gang. This fieldtrip both 3 yr olds and 4 yr olds went
(and lots of moms to help).
Picking her pumpkin...
With her onion on the wagon ride behind the tractor.
She was more excited about that then her pumpkin AND they were about the same size.
On of the rides after the wagon ride. There really is lots to do there...
We will be going back every year.
In the feed corn (sand box). This is a great idea. Much easier to clean off then sand and just as fun. It feels kind of like a foot massage too when you rub your bare feet thru it. Yes, I tried it out...
